Front Page:
* Website name: Appears at the top of the Front Page, and I chose a name that hopefully will remember.
* Purpose: Appears at the top of the Front Page, and is a brief summary of what my website is about
* Joke of the Week: placed at the top of the Home Page, to try to get visitor's to return and the joke/anecdote changed every week.
* Counter; This is one of the most important features on my site. Visitor's can see what kind of traffic the site is getting.
* Email Address; The Home Page has an email address in a prominant position at the top of the page, in the middle, and down at the bottom.
* Hooks: I've tried to hook my visitor's, with a variety of colorful, humorous graphics, short writing pieces, which do not take much time to read, and I have chosen graphics, which may be of interest to a wide audience. * Visitor's Center; (What's New/What's Going On? Located at the top of the Front Page. This is important so the visitor can be kept informed about all the things going on with my website.
* Loading time: Despite a graphics-rich website, I have never had trouble accessing my website from a number of different places.
Additional Information:
* House Calls: I developed my House Calls, to market my website, and I ususlly personalize them, to stay away from spam.
* Traffic: This is a toughie, right? I don't have a lot of traffic to my site...YET! And, this has been fine with me, because my site has been manageable up to now. I'm not in any hurry to fail. But, the traffic will probably have to increase if a corporate sponsor signs on. Where there's a will...there's a way...and, I'll find a way!
* Individual Pages: Each page contains: my name; website name; email address; and links Home/Site Map and to other Main Sections.
