*  Charitable/non-profit organizations must submit their information
about their cause/project on organization stationary to be considered.
I will compose the ad, from the information given to my by the
organization, etc.  The ad will not be seen until it is published.

*  I will take the information given to me by the organization and
compose the ad, etc.  My business card, or silly card, as I like to call it,
will appear in all the ads, as the sponsor of the ad.  At no time, will my
personal information take up more space than a business card.

*  Churches and religious organizations will not be considered.  They
have the ability to raise their own money.

This is a family website.
In the Spirt of Heart-felt Giving!
Like everyone else in America, I've had my share of life's ups and downs!  But, in the overall picture of things, Old Glory has been good to me and my family...so, we must give back!  For me, giving can be done in several ways...volunteer work; cash donations; and/or sponsoring an ad in a newsletter for a worthy charity or non-
profit organization, etc.

For many years, I gave to an international charitible organization...but no more.  After the unthinkable events of 9/11, there were reports out of Washington, D. C., that much of the money donated to this international charitable organizations, was not going where the donor had intended for the money to go, etc.  This made me mad!

Furthermore, I learned about the slarries of the director of the organization, at the time, was $250,000 per year, and some of the district directors were making about 80K a year!  I was appalled to say the least!  Sounds like somebody is lining their pockets here!

Giving is all about trust!  You have to trust people that your donation is going to go to the right place and whene you intended it to go.  If you can't trust an organization to get your money to go where you intend it to go...who can you trust?  When the tsunami hit in Asia a few years ago, I didn't give, because I didn't know if my money would go to the right place or not.

What to do?  I then came up with the idea, to place ads in organizations newsletters and pay for them myself...and this way,
I can see where my money is going.  By doing this, it's a win; win; win situation for everyone.  Example;

1) The organization publishishing the newsletter makes money
off the ad, which help to pay for everyday expenses, etc.

2) The organization in need, gets valuable exposure for their cause,
and hopefully gets many donations as well.

3)  And, I get my two-cents for sponsoring and paying for the ad, and
    the satifaction of giving.
