Out Painting The Town Red The apartments where I used to live, had a center island, which started at the front gate, and curved its way thru the apartments, and out the back gate. It was like a little "main street," and so the curbs were painted red, and no parking was allowed on either side of the island, or along the curbs. (fire lanes) Because of the heat of the sun, the curbs had faded quite a bit with the sun, and were looking pretty bad, and needed a coat of paint. One day, I noticed a fellow out there with a brush and roller, painting the curbs red, and they were starting to look better. As I walked by him to pick up the mail, I said: |
