Art/craft Show Participation: The state of New Mexico, is blessed with thousands of talented artists and craftspeople, and many quality arts and crafts shows as well. I have participated in over 40 arts and crafts shows throughout the State.
I have also promoted sixof my own shows in Rio Rancho (Art in the Park) which was held at the beautiful Haynes Park during the International Balloon Fiesta. (Advertising; promotion; telephone work; good people skills; organization; working with exhibitor's and general public were a must). |

People Skills: Good people skills and communications skills oral/writing are a MUST in any consulting practice.
Building a successful website requires good communications skills. Exchanging emails (in a professional manner), with visitors is an ongoing process.
Dealing effectively and professionally with the public is a MUST, while participating in an arts and crafts show, where there can be thousands of visitors at a large shopping center, hotel, or convention center, etc.
Promoting an arts and crafts show, requires good communication and people skills, not only with the many exhibitor's, but with the general public as well.

Temporary Employee: After my three job layoffs, I've been a temporary employee longer than I would like to think. But, the silver lining in all this has been the fact that it has given me a lot of experience in many different work environments. I've seen the good; the bad; and the ugly; great ideas; lousy ideas; organizarion; dis-organization; violence; good companies; not so good companies, etc. |
