The Storage Place

When I first starting building my website, one of the first things I did, was to create a storage place for all my graphics.  Whenever I would go out surfing in the clip-art library, I would see graphcs I liked, and rather than bookmark them, I would bring them in and store them here.  I'm glad  I did that, because Homestead (host) has since done away with the clip-art library, and I would have lost all those images.

This page has never been open to the public until now (2007), and I certainly hope you find it interesting.  I was dis-connected from my website and from the Internet for over 2 1/2 years because of hardship and heart failure, etc.  After my return, I deleted many pages on my website, and all the images were placed in storage, for use at another time.
Articles; quips; ideas; stories; captioned graphics; teaching aid the do's and dont's; poems; sayings/quots;
Everyone is creative, and so are YOU!  .Most of us have heard the term, "writer's block," which usually pertains to writers.  I like to use the term, "creative block," because everyone is creative in their own way...some people are more creative than others.

In his book, Sam Walton (Wal-Mart), said that he never stole ideas from his competitor's, but that he would see what they were doing, and modify their ideas to his way of thinking.  This website is about humor and ideas!  And, people can come here and see the ideas I have used on my site, modify them for their own use, etc.
Recently, I received the following email from a woman named Caroline, who lives in Honolulu, Hawaii and she writes:

"Hi Jerry...I think your website is wonderfully funny!  I am
a consultant and director of a non-profit.  We are in the
Honolulu office, of the Small Business Development
Center (associated with the SBA), and are in the
formation stage of putting a newsletter together, for our
   small business clients.

I would like to ask permission to use some of the material
on your website, to help keep our clients laughing (and
healthy)...with some of your quips; stories, or maybe
even visuals.  May I gain your permission?  Would you
like for me to put in a request.for each item, or how would
you like me to process that?

Looking forward to hearing positively from you.  Thanks
loads, and I still have a smile on my face from last
   night...Caroline."

Permission was given to Caroline.  The "idea" for this page came because of the email from Caroline, and it allowed me to put this page to work, as it was just gathering dust, etc.
Anyone can use the material on my website, if they do the following:

Give proper credit and/or a link back to my site.

You can learn about captioning graphics; color and page balance; the use of white space; black and white pages; enlarging/reducing graphics;  backgrounds, silliness, taking chances, etc...etc...etc.
Get Inspired...Get Motivated...Get Going!
These funny one-liners (quips), can be used in letters; articles and books, or for whatever you choose...and all are FREE!
For many months, I have collected the sayings/quots that you see on this page, and I have used them throughout my website and for my display show.  The visitor can use them for free, and use them for their websites; projects; newsletters; or any other way they may choose.  School kids can use the sayings/quots for their school projects, and I will add to the list as I get them.
